Reed Plumbing & Drainage Director Jon Reed along with Robco Building & Maintenance Project Manager Marcus Curran attended a working bee that St John Bosco School located in Niddrie held in November 2022.
This led them to working together with local supplier Reece Airport West to put some extra time back into the local school. “Whilst we were there painting and cleaning up around the school and helping with general handy person jobs, we noticed that the all the taps in the school were leaking and some of the toilet seats were lose or cracked” says Jon Reed. “We also noticed that the mirrors were showing the silicone through them from the original installation”.
Together With the help from the president of the parents and friends committee Jon & Marcus got together and approached Reece Airport West to see how they could help. Reece offered the material at a great price to help us support this amazing local school.
Once the plan was in place not only did Jon and Marcus donate their time and labour, their office staff & even some little helping hands from Employee children and children who attend the school jumped on board this great opportunity to give back.
“We replaced and installed 15 new bathroom mirror’s, 15 new tap cartridges, 15 toilet seats, Installed 5 new toilet paper dispensers, Fixed locks and door stoppers, giving the school bathrooms a brand new look and feel”.
